This summer, the Zobha Team had the pleasure of spending a week with Headstand graduate and rising 9th grader, Tracy, who was chosen to participate in our first Week of Grace Internship at Zobha headquarters in Mill Valley, CA.
Her mission for the week: To create fashion-forward activewear for teens.
Her inspiration: Fierce Yoga; powerful and strong yet classic & stylish
How it went:
Tracy blew us away by creating an entire line of fashion-forward teen activewear. She was able to take the self-empowerment skills she learned from yoga and use them to create an entrepreneurial plan in a real business setting – truly taking her yoga off the mat and beyond. What a week of grace!
Each day Tracy spent time with a Zobha team member to learn about their expertise in a particular aspect of our business. She experienced “real on the job training” as she applied what she learned to her own project. The results were overwhelming.
On the last day of her internship, Tracy presented her line to the Zobha Team. From design concepts to marketing, merchandising, and distribution – Tracy nailed it all!
We, at Zobha, want to thank Tracy and Headstand Founder, Katherine Priore, for the unique experience of working with such a talented young woman. We look forward to inviting Tracy, along with another Headstand graduate, back next summer!
