The Zobha Team is always looking for fun, new workouts, and our most recent discovery is paddle board yoga! We recently went out with OnBoard SUP Yoga for a session on the San Francisco Bay.
When we first heard about paddle board yoga we were all a little nervous; I mean paddle boarding is fun, and we all love a good yoga practice, but practicing yoga ON a paddle board … that seemed like a recipe for disaster. However, to our surprise, none of the team fell in the water, not even the least coordinated of us (a person known for falling off stationary bikes).
The truth is, being on a paddle board, on the water, turns yoga into a whole new experience. Especially when it comes to poses like crow, wheel, or headstands. Being on the water shifts the challenge from strength to balance, which is a fun change in perspective.
So get out there and try something new!
